Sun sextile Jupiter is exact TODAY — a genuine window of expansion that most people sleepwalk straight through because it doesn't announce itself with a crash. Are you about to reach for it, or wait for a sign that looks more like lightning?
The Sun at 21° Libra forms an exact sextile to your ruler Jupiter at 21° Leo today — a quiet, real invitation requiring just enough effort to activate. Your Sagittarius Moon is simultaneously in an exact opposition to retrograde Uranus in Gemini, which means the emotional ground is unsteady even as the opportunity sharpens. Five planets remain retrograde, so the world around you is still in review mode — which makes this sextile's forward-facing energy genuinely unusual right now.
Here is the thing about a sextile: it does not kick your door in. It knocks, politely, and if you're busy catastrophizing or scrolling or telling yourself the timing isn't right, you will simply not hear it. Sun sextile Jupiter exact today is a door that is open — your ruler, Jupiter, in Leo, receiving the Libra Sun with real warmth — and it is asking you to name something you want and take one visible step toward it. Not plan it, not research it, not run it by five people. A step.
The complicating texture is that your Moon in Sagittarius is in an exact opposition to retrograde Uranus in Gemini, which means your feelings are jumpy right now. You might be second-guessing the very thing the Jupiter sextile is pointing at. This is not a reason to wait — this is Uranus doing what Uranus does: throwing static at the signal to see if you trust it. The Moon also trines Mars and Neptune from here, so your instincts are not broken; they're just loud and a little scrambled. Listen beneath the noise.
With Venus and Saturn both retrograde, this isn't a day for launching something publicly or asking for external validation. It's a day for internal expansion — for saying yes to yourself before anyone else can weigh in. Jupiter in Leo wants you generous, warm, and a little audacious. The Sun in Libra wants you discerning and fair. Together they're asking: what would you reach for if you trusted that the reaching itself was enough?
The Sun-Jupiter sextile opens a rare window for warmth and genuine offering — say the generous thing, don't hold it as leverage.
An exact alignment of your ruler with the Sun is a real professional opening, but it requires you to name what you're after rather than wait to be noticed.
The jumpy Moon-Uranus opposition is asking you to distinguish between intuition and anxiety — they feel identical today, but one is information and one is weather.
““Jupiter signifies felicity, increase, and the perfection of those things already begun — but only when the native reaches forth a hand to meet it.””
TranslationLilly's point was that Jupiter doesn't manufacture luck out of nothing — it magnifies motion already in progress. Today's exact sextile is the magnifier; you have to supply the motion.
